This is a "School Based League". Players on a team must
all attend schools from the same High School District. School Based Travel teams are welcome as guest teams and are not eligible for
the league title or end of the season school based tournaments. Travel and School Based teams may play in our weekly Saturday Single Day Shootouts.
Teams play two games each Sunday. Teams made up of several grades
play in the older division. End of the Season Tournaments
– Teams are grouped by records, 3 to 4 teams per Division. Each Division plays a Holiday tournament style bracket. Two
winners advance to the Championship and the losers play a consolation game. Each Division champion is awarded t-shirts. Teams
can join the league at anytime – play one or any number of weeks you want. Contact Jerry Crowe to schedule those
games. Due to the need for our school systems to cut budgets, host sites are no
longer available at no cost. Host Sites will be paid a $10 per game fee to cover facility costs. This
increase in the IYBL operation cost is reflected in the higher league fee. The league fee is still under half the cost of
other facilities. The normal fees charged by other facilities is $500+ for an 8 game schedule and a single game elimination
tournament. Host sites will continue to receive 100% of the gate and concession after paying the referees.
Grade
School $525 and includes Secondary Medical Insurance
Jr. High Teams $480 and includes Secondary Medical Insurance
Players
not able to find a team.
Cost $125 Players unable to join a team may join a Blue Chip House Team. This policy is not intended
to create super teams. Their status is the same as a guest team - not part of league standings or able to win any awards. Individuals
needing to join a team should call Jerry at 765 464 0100 or email tommills@youthsportsandfitness.com. Cost includes 1 practice per week, coach, and IYBL league fees.
